Reza brings over 25 years of investment and financial-markets experience across the banking and asset management sectors. He began his career in the Treasury Division of a Malaysian financial institution, where he managed a broad range of financial instruments, including foreign exchange and derivatives across both proprietary trading and corporate dealing desks. He transitioned into the asset management industry in 2002, assuming responsibilities spanning sales, marketing, distribution, training, and product development. He was based in the Middle East in 2008 and 2009 to develop the Middle Eastern markets for a Malaysian Asset Management outfit and specialised in Islamic Asset Management since 2010. In 2008 and 2009, he was based in the Middle East to expand regional business opportunities for a Malaysian asset management firm, further deepening his exposure to global markets. Since 2010, he has specialised in Islamic asset management, strengthening his expertise in Shariah-compliant investment strategies. Reza joined UOB Islamic Asset Management in 2017, where he shaped the firm's capabilities and establishing it as the Regional Islamic Centre of Excellence within the UOB Asset Management Group. He holds an MBA with a specialisation in Islamic Finance from the University of Malaya and a Bachelor of Commerce from La Trobe University, Melbourne. Reza has been licensed by the Securities Commission Malaysia as a Capital Markets and Services Respresentative (CMSRL) for fund management since 2011 and has been a Shariah Registered Financial Planner with the Malaysia Financial Planning Council (MFPC) since 2019.

Badrul has 24 years of experience in financial markets, Badrul was involved in trading and managing of Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and Derivatives, in local and regional markets, including at both Financial Institutions Treasury Division as well as in Asset Management. Badrul served as the of Head of Fixed Income of at a local asset management, handling institutional clients, and was responsible for the investment strategy and performance of the Fixed Income team. |
