Suet Ling’s experience spans more than 20 years with particular expertise in Malaysia and Asian ex-Japan equities. Her mandates have been wide-ranging with varying focuses and creative investment styles 

She has held senior positions, including the Malaysia equity team head of UOB Asset Management Ltd and portfolio manager of funds in both Malaysia and Singapore. She was promoted to Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of UOBAM(M) in 2005 to oversee the growth of the company

Suet Ling graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and is a CFA charterholder.

 

Francis has more than 17 years of investment experience, encompassing equities research and fund management and joined UOBAM(M) in 2007. Prior to joining UOBAM(M), he was a senior analyst at a foreign securities firm and was a member of an equities research team ranked highly by Greenwich Associates and Asiamoney. 

Francis is a CFA charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University, Sydney with a double major in actuarial studies and finance.

Chang leads the Fixed Income division with experience spanning more than 18 years in the financial industry, mainly in a wide variety of treasury activities. Prior to UOBAM(M), he was attached to the fixed income desk at a local banking institution. 

He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from Universiti Utara Malaysia and is also a CFA charterholder.

 

Mei Hwa’s experience spans a spectrum of roles in the financial services industry, including stockbroking and asset management. She is responsible for the company’s operations, including processes and systems. Before joining UOBAM(M), Mei Hwa  was a credit control executive in a local brokerage firm. 

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) (Hons) from Curtin University of Technology, Perth.

Mr. Edwin Lee Wai Kidd, Head of Intermediary Distribution and Product Development, joined UOBAM in October 2018. Edwin carries with him more than 20 years of experience in various financial industry from banking, life insurance, general insurance, unit trust to capital market. In his last assignment before joining UOBAM, he spent almost 4 years with an international fund manager where he has successfully made the company presence felt among banks and in independent financial advisors (IFA) where he also successfully brought the interest in India Market to Malaysian investors. He has also been the regular speaker by invitation in various public seminars especially on his forte of China Economy and One Belt One Road forum. He has also been invited by SC’s Securities Industry Development Corporation (SIDC) as the facilitator to provide the insight of China economy.

Prior coming back to Malaysia in 2014, Edwin has spent 4 years in Indonesia with one of Malaysia’s leading Investment Banking Group where he was under secondment to establish the retail distribution network for the Asset Management arm of the bank. During his final year in Indonesia, he was assigned to establish a Wealth Management Division for the Securities arm under the same bank.

Prior his secondment, he was the Head of Institutional Unit Trust Agents (IUTA) and has been a regular speaker featured in various market outlook seminars and trainings for one of the leading unit trust companies in Malaysia. In his social activity, Edwin was also one of the 12 elected board members of the Malaysia Chambers of Jakarta (MCJ) for the tenure of 2013/15 where he is plays a role in facilitating Malaysian and Malaysian businesses in settling down in Jakarta.
Edwin holds Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Ottawa University, Kansas, USA and Diploma graduate in Business Studies from the London School of Management. He is licensed under the FiMM for Unit Trust and PRS, and LIAM's PCE. He is also a license holder of Capital Market Services Representative’s License (CMSRL) registered with the Securities Commission Malaysia. In Indonesia, he is a license holder for Wakil Penjual Efek Reksa Dana (WAPERD) for unit trust and Wakil Perantara Pedagang Efek (WPPE) for capital market.

Mr Zach Goh Kah Heng has more than 12 years of experience in the field of banking and finance. He is the designated person responsible for legal and compliance matters of UOBAM(M). Prior to joining UOBAM(M), he was in legal practice and he was the legal manager in a foreign Islamic financial institution in Malaysia.  He holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB Hons) from Northumbria University at Newcastle, UK and a Certificate of Legal Practice. He was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2013.
